Whalley
From: £2.50
Whalley Abbey was one of the last Cistercian Abbeys to be built in England. Building of the Abbey Church began in 1330, but it was not ready for worship until 1380. Now-a-days Whalley Abbey is one of the Ribble Valley's main tourist attractions.
It is set on the banks of the River Calder, has a visitor centre, gift shop and tea rooms.
Coasters are both made from a cork backed eucalyptus hardboard base covered by a paper image protected by laminate with rounded edges. Coasters are stain resistant and wipe clean. They are heat resistant for normal use but will not withstand dishes from the oven or direct from the hob.
Coaster size - 114 x 89mm.
