The North West Gatehouse of Whalley Abbey is the oldest part of the Abbey, originally built in 1320. The structure is 75 feet in length and 37 feet in width with a room above (now in ruins) which was home to the first school in Whalley.
Placemats are made from a cork backed eucalyptus hardboard base covered by a paper image protected by laminate with rounded edges. Placemats are stain resistant and wipe clean. They are heat resistant for normal use but will not withstand dishes from the oven or direct from the hob.
Placemat size - 241 x 190mm.
