Expansion of the Methodist Society in Whalley eventually led to the building of the existing Methodist Church which was completed in 1872. The windows in the Church set it apart from many others as it is quite unusual for Methodist Churches to have such splendid stained glass windows.
Placemats are made from a cork backed eucalyptus hardboard base covered by a paper image protected by laminate with rounded edges. Placemats are stain resistant and wipe clean. They are heat resistant for normal use but will not withstand dishes from the oven or direct from the hob.
Placemat size - 241 x 190mm.
